Koridor X Highway Bridges -South Serbia

Transport and precise on-site installation of structural elements for 7 highway bridges were managed as part of the Koridor X project in southern Serbia. A total of 430 precast concrete girders were handled across multiple structures.
Key challenges:

Coordination of heavy transport on mountainous roads with limited access and tight curves
Precise alignment and placement of long precast girders under strict tolerances
Multi-crane lifts in varying site conditions with live traffic and construction activity
Full compliance with EU/Serbian heavy haul regulations and safety standards

Transport method:
Standard European heavy haul configuration with truck tractor (steel suspension) + 4–5 axle dolly-type trailers for long-distance movement and site delivery.
Equipment used:

Heavy crawler and mobile cranes ranging from 200 t to 500 t (440,000 lb to 1,102,000 lb)
Custom spreader beams, lifting lugs and tagline/tailing systems for controlled rotation and placement

All transport and lifting operations were executed safely and on schedule, with zero incidents and full compliance with project safety and quality standards.
